Breast Cancer Awareness Camp

Breast Cancer Awareness Camp on 19th Oct 2024 at St. Antonys UP School Thayyil.

As part of the World Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Kairos Kannur and Malabar Cancer Care Society organized along with Rajagiri College of Social Sciences. Under the leadership of BSW students, a breast cancer awareness class was conducted at St. Anthony's UP School on Saturday at 4 pm. Kairos Director Rev. Father George Mathew presided over the function which was inaugurated by Parish Priest Rev. Father Martin Rayappan, Kairos Community Organizer, Tayil. Shri PJ Jacob, founder of Jacob and George Chartered Accountants was the chief guest of the event. Founder and President of Malabar Cancer Care Society Shri D. Krishnanadha Pai delivered the keynote address. Dr. Harsha Gangadharan, Medical Officer of MCCS, conducted the class. Graduate student Kumari Alana Paul gave the welcome address. The meeting ended with vote of thanks by student Kumari Nehla OF.
