“ World Environment Day ”

World Environment Day was celebrated on 5th June 2024, at KAIROS, along with St. Peters L.P. School, Burnassery. The Event was inaugurated by Adv. P. Indira (Deputy Mayor, Kannur Corporation). The inauguration was done by distributing seed pods to children of the LP section of the school. Mam Indira spoke about how important it is to safe guard nature and asked all the children to do vegetable gardening in their homes and bring the cultivated vegetables to school. Through this activity, children will be able to work with their hands and feel the soil. An awareness class was given to the students by Mr. K.V. Chandran (General Coordinator, Kairos). The member on the dignitaries on-dais were Rev. Fr. Ibel (Asst. Parish Priest Holy Trinity Catedral), Principal of St. Peters School Mrs. Sherly who expressed her vote of thanks to all gathered at the event.
